With over a decade of experience in the dynamic realm of recruitment, I bring a wealth of expertise and passion to my role as Business Development Manager at Meraki Capital. My journey in the industry has been defined by a relentless pursuit of opportunities and a commitment to driving impactful growth.
Having started my career in the industrial sector, I quickly rose through the ranks by honing my skills in recruiting drivers and warehouse staff. This early experience instilled in me a deep understanding of operational intricacies and the importance of building strong client relationships.
Transitioning into the healthcare market allowed me to broaden my horizons and specialise in recruiting mental health staff and physiotherapists. It was here that I discovered my passion for connecting with clients and uncovering unique opportunities for growth and development.

Finance Director
I have had the privilege of working for Galliford Try Group (FTSE 250 company) for 41 years, with the last 30 years dedicated to serving as Finance Director for various entities within the group. In my most recent role before departing GT, I served Finance Director for three operations with a combined turnover of £350m. During my tenure, I spent 7 years overseeing the finances of the Housing company and also gained valuable experience during the four years working in the Middle East.
My expertise spans both construction and housing sectors, with a strong focus on finance and commercial aspects. Since 2016, I have been involved in consultancy work across main stream construction, utilities, house building, budgeting, trade and wolring capital forecasting, aquation due diligence and performance reviews.

With a career spanning over two decades, I bring a wealth of diverse experience and expertise to my role. My journey in recruitment began 23 years ago, alongside Nick, where I excelled as an industrial recruiter, managing temporary staff and cultivating strong client relationships through regular visits.
Transitioning into the education sector, I embarked on a new chapter as a year 6 teacher, later advancing to the role of assistant headteacher. Alongside my teaching responsibilities, I embraced various roles including English subject leader and computer systems management. This multifaceted experience has honed my ability to thrive in dynamic environments, adeptly multitask, and efficiently manage varied responsibilities with precision and speed.
My tenure in education underscores my unwavering commitment to maintaining a high pace and delivering excellence across all endeavours. I am passionate about leveraging my diverse skill set and experience to drive meaningful impact and create lasting value.
